1.Download castle Wars and install.
2. Click a game room on the left game tree, a menu will pop up,
then click 'enter game room'.
3. Click beside a table to sit down , then click the 'play now' button,
now you are ready to play.
4. If another player sits down beside the same table and clicks the 'play now'
button, the game will start at once.

game tree, then click beside a table, the game will start in practice mode.

The New Game - When you start a new game the island is divided up between six players. You own the 'green' country now, all green territories and hexagons belong to you and your goal is to conquer the whole island. Adjoining hexagons of the same color to form territories. To select a territory just click anywhere on it.

Move Pieces - The pieces marked with yellow arrows are movable in this turn. You can move him to any empty hexagon in the territory or any hexagons adjacent to this territory as long as the hexagon isn't protected by an enemy piece. If you try to move on to a hexagon that is protected you will see a 'stop!' warning come out of the enemy piece that is doing the protecting. After you do all moves, click the sandglass button to end turn.

Attack and Protect - One piece with higher level can kill an enemy piece or occupied the hexagon that is protecting by him. The level list of all pieces (ascending) is: peasants, huts, swordmen, castles, knights, super castles, dragons. Buildings can't attack others, but they can protect your domain well.

Economic - If you click on a territory you will see its economic situation in the info window. It shows your savings, Income (one for each hexagon that doesn't have a tree or grass on it per day), how much it spent on wages and the balance. When the balance becomes negative, the territory goes bankrupt, all people on it will die.

Buy and Sell - You can buy soldiers or buildings if have enough savings. Buildings only cost a one time fee when you order, but soldiers also demand daily wages. So please pay attention to the balance when you order pieces. To order a piece, click it from the right window, than drag it to the island. On the contrary, if you want to sell a piece, click on it first, then drag it to the selling window.

Join and Split Territories - The basic strategy of the game is to join your territories and prevent them from being splitted by enemies. Once you capture a hexagon which joins two of your territories together, they will combine to a bigger one with more savings and income. If one of your territories is splitted into two, its savings and income are splitted according to the their size. The bad result is one of them can't afford to pay the soldiers on it anymore and goes bankrupt. All soldiers will die.
